Conflict between the people and the French monarchy sparked revolution would actually make an effective thesis for an essay on the cause of the French Revolution. The other options were also there but contractions can be made against the other options. The revolution was mainly caused by the economic depression and he social oppression caused by the French monarchy. These difficult conditions actually were the main reason behind common people starting and participating in the French revolution.
