In 1859, Australia had no native rabbit population. After a trip to England, an Australian farmer decided to release 24 wild European rabbits onto his farm. Ten years later, more than two million rabbits were hunted on the farm. Predict the most likely consequence of the native species in the environment where the rabbits were released.

    Death in the population due to the fact they are not in their natural habitat. They would eat themselves out of house and home
