Why did the Federalists support the ratification of the Constitution?

    They believed we wouldn't have been able to survive in this country without it. The Articles of Confederation failed, so it caused a lot of paranoia within people, and we felt like we needed to improve and become stronger.

    They wanted a strong government with rich white people in charge.
