    Africa and India

    Explanation:

New Imperialism is the term commonly used to talk about the second wave of European imperialism that was mostly caused by the Industrial Revolution.

Mostly Britain and France needed new sources for natural goods such as rubber, oil, and manganese.

France used a direct rule system, officials and soldiers ruled the African colonies and the main goal was to impose their culture and their lifestyle.

The British system was different, it was an indirect rule, they used local rulers like sultans to gain access to the people.

In the Berlin Conference, many European nations gathered and the map of Africa was redrawn to fit the necessities of those powers.

The French had the biggest share of Africa, while Britain had a smaller portion but with more population and with more natural resources.

Britain also took over India around the 1800s until 1947. The British created a new modern system of education and imposed a series of economic reforms, they also unified the state. The problem was that the British were not sensitive to the Hindu religion and this led to rebellion.
