Is the US a direct or indirect democracy

The United States, we have an indirect democracy. The Direct democracy would not work at all in the country the size of ours. In a Direct Democracy, all the citizens vote on all the proposed laws. Here in the U. S. we elect representatives and they makes the laws for us people.
