Why was the bill of rights so important to the anti-federalists and what kinds of things does it say

    Anti-federalists are against large government and for personal rights.

    The Bill of Rights is important to them because it limits government and specifcally outlines rights which cannot be taken away from the people. Take a look at some of these amendments, for example--freedom of expression, right to own and use guns ... and one that specifically says that the government is only allowed to do what is outlined in the Constitution!
