    Federalist in North Carolina was responsible for giving undue power to the state. They are the people who supported federal constitution. They were the previous combat brigadiers who believed that the lower class must be dominated by the elites.

    They were also particular in farming the constitution as that of Britain. Under the leadership Alexander Hamilton they decided to build a new composition of laws but it had many flaws.

    Federalists were involved in bickering among each other which paved way for Jefferson's victory in presidential election.
