Poisonous gas, which was heavier than air, was used in World War I. Why might gas be a more effective weapon against soldiers in the trenches than those on the battlefield?

    Bc the gas can sink down into the deep trench and won’t escape as easily, therefore killing more people

    The gas kills people quicker because one it goes down quickly because heavier then air 2 people breathe and it gets in heir lungs
