How did the puritan belief that all people should be able to read the bible impact colonial life

    Created high literacy and education levels as well as contributing to individual thinking in addition to a moral life.

    Puritans had an ability to read and manage their colonies with education and morality as a guide. This thinking will lead to leaders who are educated and able to run a colony and therefore a government later.
