Whats the difference between the roman empire and the han dynesty

The Roman Empire was the greatest empire and most powerful empire, but so was the Han Dynasty. Except, the Romans always had power, never really losing its strength.

The difference between the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty was that the Romans were sort of a republic, where they got to choose their leader. Where as to the Han Dynasty, power got passed down the family.
