The Koran, the Muslim Holy Book, teaches that there is but one God, Allah, and the prophet Muhammad is his Messenger. This is the central and fundamental Muslim creed.
The Koran also teaches about God's mercy, asks for compassion, moral rectitude, honesty and compliance with Allah's laws. As in Christianity, Allah rewards those good faithful with life in heaven, and punishes the souls of sinners and evil men.
