Do you support or oppose the following statement? The use of the atomic bomb against Japanese civilians and military personnel was a morally acceptable method to end World War II.

    I oppose this because the united state could have found another way to end the war but instead they bomb a whole nation. The Japanese only attacked pear harbor not the whole united united states and the did not bomb it with an atomic bomb.

The death toll and the nuclear fallout from the bombs had innumerable effects on the population for generations. It also distinguishes the United States from other countries in the world. The U. S. is the only country to have utilized nuclear weapons in an armed conflict.
