Satellites are material that, after being propelled into place, resides in circumference around the Earth. These things have become significant to use technologies on Earth, such as mapping, transmission, and tracking.

The first satellite was placed into orbit by the then Soviet Union in 1957. The Sputnik I had a crowd of nearly 83 kg and had no particular purpose, only transferred a sign from a radio. The technology developed, was propelled by other nations and today there are special spacecraft for communications, meteorology, information, etc.
