Astronomers were interested in studying radio waves in the 1980s and 1990's because the radio waves were coming from the center of the Milky Way.

    Answer: Option B

    Explanation:

The telescope displayed results of the waves in the form of bubbles which are said to be light years away from the earth. Although scientists were unable to explain the phenomenon they managed to name them based on their appearance with familiar objects.

In the period of 1980s and 1990's, astronomers were interested in studying the radio waves, especially the radio waves which were arriving from the centre of the milky way galaxy. This was found by using an electronic telescope.
