    Columbian Exchange refers to the process by which commodities, people, and diseases crossed the Atlantic, it is two-way exchanges between the Americas and Europe/Africa.

    Due to the Columbian Exchange the Atlantic (ocean) was seen as a barriers to trade between Europe and America. For example: In Europe new types of foods improved diets and lifespans and European economies also improved through trade. While in America, animals like the cow and the horse changed the lives of many Native American groups.
