What obstacle did the british army face in the revolutionary war?

    One of the biggest thing was the war was fought from very far away (troops, supplies, etc. took a very very long time to arrive). Also the war was very expensive. Another huge thing though was french involvement with the war. Arguably, they were the deciding factor.
