    The correct option is B

The Night of the Broken Glass was a series of lynchings and combined attacks that took place in Nazi Germany (including Austria as well) during the night of 9 to 10 November 1938 and carried out against Jewish citizens by the SA assault troops. together with the civilian population, while the German authorities observed without intervening.

These pogroms were directed against Jewish citizens and their properties, as well as the destruction of synagogues throughout the country. The attacks left the streets covered with broken glass belonging to shop windows and windows of Jewish-owned buildings.

The Kristallnacht was followed by a persistent political and economic persecution of the Jewish population, and is considered by historians as part of racial politics in Nazi Germany and the previous step of the beginning of the Final Solution and the Holocaust.
