What is the purpose of Article I of Michigan's constitution, and how does it reflect or borrow from the ideas contained in the US Bill of Rights? In a paragraph, describe other ways the state constitution allows citizens to influence the political process directly.

    Article I of the Michigan Constitution comprises of 27 sections that establish the rights and freedoms of the citizens of Michigan. It borrows from the ideas of the US Bill of rights because it recognizes that there are certain natural rights that the state should guarantee. The state constitution allows citizens to influence the political process directly through elections of officials
