Best of Two Worlds

Birds on a telephone wire

make the best of two worlds.

Sated with food from nature's feast

they rest after dinner.

And, unaware of the human talk

flowing silently beneath their feet,

They drowsily discuss where

they will dine tomorrow.

    The two words would be wire and wood because they are the only two words in the first two lines with the / w / sound at the beginning.
