Culturally, the Native Indians were much more associated with nature, wore clothes made of the hide (animals), practice religion which was very different from the English settlers. The native had greater respect for nature than the English settlers. Socially, the settlers and Indians tried to maintain a friendly relationship by entering into marriages, with trading furs and other items like guns, and food. By getting contact with the English, the Native Indians catch diseases which led in death of the tribes in greater number. Eventually, the greed for the land by the colonizers led to unrest among both sides, which ultimately started in Powhatan wars, with the forced removal of the Indians after losing the war.
