Nicolae Ceausescu was the communalist leader who soon became the head of Romania and openly defied the domination of Soviet Russia over Romania.

After holding the highest office in Romania, Nicolae ordered to export much of the agricultural produce to other countries which ended up in shortage of fuel and food supply in Romania. It resulted in civil chaos. He also made the villages of Romania to be empty and asked the people migrate to other areas.

He also ordered his security officials to fire the civilians who were involved in protests that were against his Government. Seeing the civil unrest, the Ceausescu couple flew to escape but the armed forces arrested them at Bucharest and within an hour of court trial, they were executed on charges of mass civilian slaughter.
