    The public goods are the goods from which the society benefits, and in turn there's nothing given for that good by the people. The education is an example of a public good, more specifically, the public schools. It is of great interest for the society that the people are well educated, so by providing free education, the population is getting more knowledgeable. While the people don't pay anything for this public good, the benefits can easily be seen in pretty much all sectors, as they are all driven by people that have been well educated and managed to gain lot of knowledge.
