How did the sumerians and other civilizations carry out aspects of the creation mandate?

They filled the earth and used the resources God had given them. Creation mandate is also called as a Cultural mandate it is the divine injunction found in Genesis 1:28 which God after having created the World and all in it ascribes to the humankind the task of subduing, filling, and ruling over the earth.
