How did george washington inspire the continental army and serve as an example for his soldiers to follow

    George Washington had risen to prominence in the French and Indian War, where he was known to have completed several very heroic acts, which were talked about throughout the colonies for some time after that. He also was always very calm and not afraid to lead his troops into battle, which was very inspiring.
