After being persecuted for their different religious beliefs in the East, the Mormons moved west to establish a new community. Where did they settle?

    At first they settled in Ohio, but they were kicked out of there and had to settle in Missouri, but then a law was made that they can't live there so they got kicked out again, so they moved to Illinois where they established a Mormon center but this wasn't good either and they eventually went to Utah where they remained and have been there ever since. Utah is nowadays still a Mormon center and they have a large amount of followers there.
