John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian religion substantiated the inspiration for a new way of Christian life for many people.

    Option: (A)

    Explanation:

As opposed to acquiring salvation through faith Calvin's teachings say that salvation is predestined and individuals don't have a choice in it. Institutes of the Christian tells that salvation is for few chosen ones while Luther tells it's attainable for everyone through faith. Calvin believed that God has 'absolute sovereignty' but Luther believed people have power over certain areas of life.
