The leader of the Bolscheviks was Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924).
He founded the Bolscheviks (meaning "majority") together with Alexander Bogdanov. (it split in 1903 from the Mansheviks).
The Bolscheviks later became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union
