What is the surface area of the figure? 428 ft² 560 ft² 632 ft² 888 ft² Irregular backwards L-shaped prism. The dimensions are 14 ft long in the front. Then on the left side goes up 8 ft. Then in to the right 8 ft. From the 14 ft in the front it goes back 6 ft. Then up 14 ft. A. 428 ft² B. 560 ft² C. 632 ft² D. 888 ft²

    C is the answer. Add up all the sides of the figure to add up to 632 ft

    The surface area of the L-shaped prism is the sum of the surface areas of the two rectangular prisms that make up the figure. So,

    SA = (8 (8) + 8 (14) + 8 (14)) (2) + ((14-8) (6) + (14-8) (8) + 6 (8)) (2)

    SA = 632

    The answer is

    C. 632 ft2
