The correct answer is - North Korea has been ruled by dictators since 1948.

After the dividing of the Korean people and the creation of two separate states, North Korea and South Korea, North Korea was the country closer to the communist ideology, and the country came to be led by the Kim family. Since the beginning of the rule of the Kim family in North Korea in 1948 they have never been taken of the throne, and nowadays the third generation of the family is leading the country, represented by Kim Jong Un. All of the leaders from the Kim family have been and are dictators that have absolute power over the country in every aspect.
