    3n+7 = 37

    N = 10

    The way I was thought is as you right out the problem circle your variable. So here you would circle 3n. And second step is to get 3n to be the only thing on the left of the equal sign so you have to add the opposite so it cancels. So you would subtract 7 from both sides. And then your one step equation is 3n=30. So now all you do is divide 30 by 3. And you answer would be 10. So 1n = 30
