The ratification process of the constitution is the process by which the concerned parties give their written approval of the constitution. For a constitution to be ratified a specific portion of the concerned parties must give their consent to the law. Article VII, which is the final article of the constitution requires that before the constitution can become a law, the document has to be ratified by nine states out of the thirteen states.
