Why did the Dutch West India Company want to establish a colony in North America?

    They wanted money, and it was controlled by British. The Boston Tea Party was a factor in the Dutch India Company tea. In which the colonist dumped 342 chest of tea into the harbor, and the colonist payed by the Intolerable Acts.
