The correct answer is B) the principle of limited government.

The Constitution as ratified in 1788 most clearly reflects the Framer's commitment to the principle of limited government.

On June 21, 1788, the United States Constitution was ratified. This occurred when New Hampshire ratified the Constitution. On December 7, 1787, five states ratified the Constitution. Those states were Delaware, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. The state that opposed was Massachusetts. But in February 1788, Massachusetts ratified the Constitution and this was followed by Maryland and South Carolina. With those approvals, it only was needed one more. The ninth state was New Hampshire. As ratified in 1788, The U. S. Constitution most clearly reflects the Framer's commitment to the principle of limited government.
