As time went on, how did the russian people view their country's participation in world war i? they opposed it because of the high casualty rate. they called for more aggressive participation. they urged the government to switch sides. they were proud of russia's many battlefield victories.

    Explanation:

    WWI was not supported by an important amount of people from the urban working class. Despondency, desertion, and open dissent were common and protests emerged form conscripted peasants from rural areas. By 1916, two million Russian soldiers had died or had been severely injured. Many were taken as prisoners as well.
