Caliph was known as Islamic history the ruler of the Muslim community. Basically it made a huge impact because it create and maintain conditions in which men could live the good Muslim life in this world. Which lead to the two main branches of Islam, Sunni and Shiite, also diverge. believed that they equivalent of caliph and later ayatollahs, could interpret Islam and lay down has no prior basis in Islamic law.
