A tactic in World War One would be Blitzkrieg.
Created by the Germans named "lightning warfare" this tactic was successful in the early stages of World War II. The use of planes, tanks and troops to quickly surround and attack an enemy with swift and precise movement allowed this tactic to be deadly. Poland, France, Other countries and early stages of Russia fell to this tactic before it was countered and the Germans were losing the war of attrition.
