    (C) Peaceful collective bargaining between workers and owners was a policy of the American Federation of Labor, organized in 1886 under the leadership of Samuel F. Gompers

    Explanation:

The AFL (American Federation of Labour) was established in 1886 by Samuel Gomers. This federation worked only till 1925. The aim of the federation is not to bycott or undergo riots in the streets but to organize the workers who are skilled enough and put them into national unions for the same trade.

It was not done on any political reasons and it aimed only at the following: Shorter working hours, better working conditions and higher wages. But the unwillingness of the AFL to support the workers broke the AFL from the inside and by few years the AFL itself consists of eight International unions.
