A factor that contributed to the fall of the Mughal Empire was "Repeated attacks from the Abbasids."

The Mughal empire was one of the most important in India. From 1526 to 1857, its territory expanded from North and Central India into what today is Pakistan. In 1806, emperor Shah Alam II died and the Mughal Empire lost the strong leadership of his emperor. His successor, Akbar Shah II let the British do what they wanted. Its successor was the same. By 1858, the British exiled last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah II to Burma. That was the official end of the Mughal Empire.
