    The answer would be 0

    because the water raised up at 100 and then falls down at 100

    so 100 + - 100 = 0

    You just have to read the word problem a couple times then you will see the answer. Like when it says rising you know that's a postive number and when it says descends it means to go downwards so a negative number.
