    Ok, so now one is 60km up and other is 40km, right

    pythagoran theorem

    distance between them is hypotonuse

    legs are 60km and 40km

    so

    a²+b²=c²

    60²+40²=c²

    3600+1600=c²

    5200=c²

    sqrt both sides

    20√13=c or aprox 72.11 km apart

    They are 20km apart. because in one hour one car would travel 60km and the other 40km and 60-40=20
