    Z^8/z^8 = 1

    when exponents are in a fraction w the same coefficient on the top and bottom (z) and you need to simplify it, you subtract the bottom exponent from the top exponent.

    In this case 8-8=0

    In addition, since z^8 and z^8 are the same value, they cancel each other out. A number divided by the same number is 1. For example: 7/7=1

    So, it's the same for z^8/z^8

    The answer is 1
