When making bread from scratch, the recipe calls for 2/4 cup of water. If you need to make a smaller portion of the recipe, how much water would you need in order to make only 1/6 of the recipe? Give your answer as a fraction, reduced to lowest terms

    If 1 recipe takes 2/4 cup of water, then 1/6 of the recipe takes 1/6 the amount of water.

    1/6 * 2/4 = 1/6 * 1/2 = 1/12
