A supermarket charges $2.50 for 8 cans of cat food. at the same rate how much would the supermarket charge for 28 cans of cat food

    2.50 / 8 = 0.3125.

    8 * 3 = 24

    0.3125 * 4 = 1.25

    2.50 * 3 = 7.5 + 1.25

    = 8.5

    8.5 should be final answer.
