A cylindrical soup can is 5.5 cm in diameter and 11.2 cm tall.

What formula must you use to find the area of the label that covers the side of the can?

Do so, showing all of your work for credit.

(Use 3.14 for Pi. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth and show your work for credit.)

    I'm a bit confused by your question. The volume of a cylinder is:

    /pi x r^2h

    /pi x 2.25^2 x 11.2

    = 117.038

    = 117.04cm^3.

    I think this is your question but say if it isn't!
