In Albany is - 4•F, in Chicago it is - 14•F, in Minneapolis it is - 12•F, and in Toronto it is - 13•F. In which city is it the coldest?

    Chicago. The lower down the number scale the tempature is, the colder it is.

    The coldest temperature is that one which is more far away from the 0, below zero, or the more negative number (the more to the left in a line number that is).

    So we have:

    -4 F in Albany

    -14 F in Chicago

    -12 F in Minneapolis

    -13 F in Toronto

    The coldest therefore is Chicago (the most negative)
