    We are given:

The weight of gold in a 22 karat gold object = 0.917 times objects weight.

The weight of gold in a 18 karat gold object = 0.583 times objects weight.

We need to find the weight of gold in 73.5 ounces of statue for 22 karat and for 18 karat.

    For 73.5 ounces of statue 22 karat gold = 0.917 * 73.5 = 67.3995 ounces gold.

    For 73.5 ounces of statue 18 karat gold = 0.583 * 73.5 = 42.8505 ounces gold.

    67.3995 - 42.8505 = 24.549 ounces of gold.

Therefore, 22 karat gold statue contains more gold and it contain 24.549 ounces more gold.
