Reciprocal function: For example: y = 2/x, as the domain values approach infinity, the range values approach zero.

Square root function: For example: y = √x, domain is [ 0, + ∞) so the domain can't approach the negative infinity.

Exponential function: For example: y = 2^x, as the domain values approach infinity, the range values approach infinity and as the domain values approach negative infinity, the range values approach zero.

    Answer:

    D) quadratic (for example: y = x² + 4)
