Stephanie needs to rent a car while on vacation. the rental company charges $17.95, plus 18 cents for each mile driven. if stephanie only has $50 to spend on the car rental, what is the maximum number of miles she can drive?

    To answer this question we will firstly deduct the initial payment that rafa el had to pay which was 17.95.

    So 50 - 17.95 = 32.05. Now this is the amount basically that he can use to drive around some miles. So if we divide 3205 by 18 we will get the number of miles he can drive.

    So 3205 / 18 = 178 miles approximately. So we have calculated the total number of miles Rafael traveled and paid for.
