    pints of 35% pure fruit juice used=26.15

    pints of 100% pure fruit juice used = 73.84

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let

    x = pints of 35% pure fruit juice

    100-x=pints of 100% pure fruit juice

    35%x+100% (100-x) = 45% (260)

    0.35x + 100 - 1x = 117

    -.0.65x = - 17

    x = 26.15

    100-x = 73.84

    ans:

    pints of 35% pure fruit juice used=26.15

    pints of 100% pure fruit juice used = 73.84
