    48 minutes.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Suppose she read x pages in the morning in t hours. Then we have the equation:

    x = 60t.

    In the evening we have

    x = 40 (2 - t) (because she read a total of 2 hours and the same number of pages as in the morning).

    Equating the 2 equations we have:

    60t = 40 (2 - t)

    60t = 80 - 40t

    100t = 80

    t = 0.8 hours.

    That is 0.8 * 60 = 48 minutes
